All Tasks now has a List/Board toggle. Board view lays your tasks out in columns by status — Inbox, To Do, In Progress, Done — and you can drag cards between columns to update status directly. Column labels are renamable per account if the defaults don't match how your team works.
Task dependencies
You can now mark a task as blocked by another task, right from the detail panel. A few things come with it:
- Cycle prevention — Vist won't let you create a circular dependency.
- Reschedule suggestions — if a blocking task's due date would push the dependent task past its own deadline, Vist flags the timing risk and offers to reschedule.
- Unblock notifications — when a blocking task is completed, anyone waiting on it gets notified, with a link straight to the now-unblocked task.
- Daily briefing integration — tasks at risk of missing their deadline because of a dependency show up in your daily briefing before they become a problem.
Board view and task dependencies are available on all plans.
